CHICAGO, IL (October 14, 2009) – North Park head men's basketball coach Paul Brenegan has announced the additions of nine new members to the 2009-2010 men's basketball program. The incoming recruiting class is comprised of seven freshman and two transfers. The North Park coaching staff yet again hit the state of Illinois hard this past year adding five in-state recruits and also added players from Wisconsin, Missouri, and Sweden. Coach Brenegan is extremely excited about this year's class, “
Our coaching staff is very pleased to welcome all of our incoming players. We needed to add some athleticism in the front court along with some valuable depth in the backcourt. We feel that we have done this, adding impact players at each position who will be major contributors throughout their respective careers.
