CHICAGO, IL (October 25, 2011) – The North Park volleyball team ended its regular season home schedule with a 3-0 loss to Wheaton College in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin action Tuesday night.

Despite the loss, North Park received some strong individual performances from sophomore Tricia Ivanoff and junior Tara Spell. Ivanoff finished with eight kills, while Spell had seven kills and three digs. In her first match back after sustaining an injury, sophomore Daniell Waldvogel was also solid as she came up with 18 digs, and freshman Aurora Johansen dished out 25 assists.

North Park (12-16, 0-7) closes out the 2011 regular season by competing in the Baker Chevrolet Volleyball Classic at Illinois Wesleyan University this weekend before opening the CCIW playoffs with a conference tournament play-in game against Carthage College Nov. 1 at 7 p.m.
