CHICAGO, IL (October 8, 2011) – The North Park women's soccer team lost to Wheaton College 4-0 in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin action Saturday night at Wheaton.

The match began fairly equally with both sides seeing possession until the 19th minute when Wheaton's Anna Seabolt scored off of an assist from Keri Shannon.  Jaime Orewiler led the Thunder for the remainder of the game, assisting the next three goals.

Freshman goalkeeper Katie Ibarra recorded four saves in 90 minutes of play.  Sophomore forward Anika Johnson was the closest to putting North Park on the board with three shots on goal.

North Park (5-6-1, 2-2) returns to action against Dominican University at home on Wednesday, October 12.
