CHICAGO, IL (October 12, 2011) – The North Park women's soccer team earned its third win in the last four games with a 1-0 win over visiting Dominican University in non-conference action Wednesday night.

The victory brought the Vikings record to an even 2-2 in the last four meetings with the Stars, as NP out-shot Dominican 6-5 in the first half.

North Park freshman forward Emma Lundeen scored the game-winner, her second collegiate goal, in the 23rd minute when she took a cross from senior Sarah Wilson and put a shot in the upper left corner of the goal.

Freshman keeper Katie Ibarra picked up her fifth win of the season and fourth shutout, as she played all 90 minutes, making seven saves.

North Park (6-6-1) returns to action Saturday night when it hosts College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin opponent Augustana College for Homecoming at 7 p.m.
